PSYCHOTHERAPIST – INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, COUPLE THERAPY
I am a certified humanistic psychotherapist. I graduated from a 4-year psychotherapy school at the INTRA Psychological Assistance and Education Center, recommended by the Polish Psychological Association (PTP). For many years I have been gaining and deepening my knowledge and experience in the field of psychotherapy. I work under constant supervision..
How I work: I combine knowledge resulting from knowledge of various therapeutic approaches with sensitivity gained in art schools and experience gained while working in a corporate environment. This gives me the opportunity to look at the client and his problem holistically. For me, a person is a whole encompassing emotional, intellectual, bodily and spiritual aspects.
I see therapy not only as a process of overcoming suffering, but also as a creative process of becoming yourself. I believe and know that by allowing the full spectrum of feelings and experiences to be heard, you can live more fully and consciously, and therefore, create your life and derive joy and pleasure from it. Then life ceases to be a story about the recreated past, and becomes a creative process consistent with my own values, needs and who I am.
I focus on the sources of problems, not their symptoms. I invite you to in-depth relational work in which the healing factor is the therapist-client relationship. Most difficulties arise in relationships with important people, so the way out of them also leads through relationships..
I believe that creating a safe and accepting space in which there can be an authentic and spontaneous exchange of thoughts, feelings and ideas helps the client listen to himself and come into contact with his own experience as it is. My role is to accompany him on this journey.
I work by integrating various trends depending on the client’s needs. The humanistic-experiential approach (including Gestalt) and process work are closest to me. I use many tools, including: from Gestalt experiences, psychodrama, work with internal figures, with metaphor and visualization, with physical symptoms, and also with dreams. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques, meditation and relaxation.
I also use my own many years of research in the field of work with the body, voice and breath. I teach what it means to be in the body and how to follow its wisdom.
