PSYCHOTHERAPIST, INDIVIDUAL THERAPY FOR ADULTS
I am a somatic psychotherapist in the final stage of training in the Bodynamic method, conducted by Bodynamic International, and in Poland organized by the Institute of Psychosomatic Therapy. Using the same method, I also completed training in working with birth trauma „Reorienting Birth”. I am in the process of a certification program as a somatic movement educator in the Body-Mind Centering approach, which I am learning, among others: in Germany, Italy and England. I run my own psychosomatic workshops.
Besides, I am an artist, dancer and performer. I belong to collectives dealing with somatic education, artistic research, socially engaged art and interdisciplinary projects.
For years, my main professional path was dance and developmental work with people through body work and creative processes. The artistic path has shaped how I experience and perceive the world and supports my therapeutic work on many levels.
Examples of topics I work with:
— restoring contact with yourself through the body
– relational/developmental trauma
– low self-esteem
– feeling of loneliness, emptiness
– depressed mood
– topics related to your own birth
– searching and redefining your identity and value system
– working with boundaries
– a sense of one’s center, core
– grounding ability
– self-regulation
– learning and developing your resources
– building a base in the body to cope with difficult situations (high level
emotions, energy, stress)
– embracing moments of transition in life, discomfort, crisis, change
– integrating artistic and spiritual experiences in everyday life
– sensitivity as a resource
A few words about Bodynamic:
It is a pioneering somatic developmental psychology from Denmark, created by Lisabeth Marcher, based on many years of research combining, among others, psychomotoric development of children, neuroscience and depth psychology. Bodynamic is also a method of somatic psychotherapy and a system of body map analysis by examining muscle tonicity. This innovative and world-recognized method has just had its first edition of training in Poland. It is the root of methods such as Somatic Experiencing, NARM, and Integral Somatic Psychology. One of the main assumptions of Bodynamic is a constant dialogue between the sense of dignity and mutual connection with others. This method is also characterized by therapy through the development of resources, perceiving the body as a base for experiencing and changing, understanding defense mechanisms as allies with whom you can make friends and even love them. Bodynamic also changes the perception of working with the ego, which, by integrating, not removing, feels an increasingly deeper connection with the world. Lisabeth has been practicing Buddhism for many years, which has also significantly influenced the understanding of work with dissociation and spiritual dimensions as a resource combined with very grounded work with the body.
